Lively perfumes of cherry with red and black berry fruit, especially raspberry and myrtle give way to tertiary notes of black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and a vanilla oak character. Pleasing balsamic notes on the finish.
PALATE
Well-structured and spiced, the palate reflects the nose with multiple attractive layers of flavour.
VINIFICATION
The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, then fermented at a controlled temperature with its own indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously in large, not toasted barrels.
AGEING
The wine is aged in large, not toasted barrels for a few months and then refined in the bottle.
